Peace and Prophecy

The words “peace” and “prophecy” are two words not often associated with each other. When most hear the word “prophecy” especially in regard to 2012, it tends to conjure up images of destruction and sentiment of despair, a standard apocalyptic view. Apocalypse by definition means “lifting of the veil” or “revelation.” This begs the questions that the Mystery School holds the answers to: What is on the other side of the veil? What will be revealed?

What is the prophecy for these End Times that many are so fearful of? It is plain to see the world is in rough shape, there is more suffering, fear, hate, hunger, and disease on the planet now than ever before. Prophecy has told us, this transition would not be easy. But what are we transitioning into? What will be born from this long and painful labour?

As initiates we know we have a big responsibility in assisting in this transition. We know we must “be the change.” We know we must make choices that will not only serve our own spiritual growth, but we must also make choices that will serve humanity for its highest good. When the veil is shattered what energy will be revealed? What energy have we, as initiates, been creating?

Humanity and the planet alike are going through a massive shift, a raise in consciousness, a heightening of vibration. In this shift, change occurs, and change isn’t always easy for those clinging to the old ways that no longer serve. So in this, pain occurs as those fighting to hold on to power, money, war and domination clench their grip even tighter, choking it, leaving no room for breathing, no room for growth.

This is a daunting circumstance, but we know this resistance can’t hold much longer, prophecy says and the Mystery School tells us that in 2012 the veil will be shattered, and all will be revealed. What exactly will be revealed? What energy have you created to assist in this transition?

Looking back

Often it amazes me to look back and see how much has happened in the short time that has passed. Our journey here to earth is for us as spiritual beings to experience a physical life. To live, love, create and find joy. One of the fruits of my labour and joys of my life has been to create Magus magazine. Writing, designing and publishing has always been a passion of mine, and it is such an honour and pleasure that I get to combine my two things that I am incredibly passion about: magazines and metaphysics!

Favourite articles of the last 4 years in one issue

In this issue you will find articles taken from other issues of Magus over the last four years. The reason for this is such a good one! Over the course of the last year, there has been a surge of brand new Adepts who have become students in the Modern Mystery School. This influx has resulted in a wider international student base, as well as an increase in those choosing to step onto the path of a Teacher, Healer and Ritual Master. Since so many people have only joined the school in the last year or so, they have not had the opportunity to receive the copies of Magus which featured the various articles compiled in this issue.

We are blessed to have Gudni and other senior initiates and Master Teachers convey some of the key lineage teachings through these articles. Some of the topics are pertinent information that all initiates should be aware of and have reference to, for instance, service in temple, the indigos. Some of the articles feature enormous insight in to background and foundational information that one might not receive anywhere else, such as the mindset of abundance, and why we are studying metaphysics.

A truly valuable component to this issue is Gudni’s article on water. This article is the only brand new feature in this issue. Having teamed up with Dr. Emoto and his scientific discoveries about water, Gudni dives into the metaphysical well of what water means to us. He connects to scripture and ancient text as well as providing some practical and useful tools for us to use in our daily lives.

Most of all, we believe these articles are too valuable not to re-print and ensure that all students have access to, either for their own use or to share with friends, family, clients and prospective students. I trust this issue will serve you well!

Thank you for all the great feedback for the last issue of Magus! I'm glad to hear that it is helping people understand more about what this path has to offer!

In the next issue of Magus we will be featuring some of the best articles of the last four years, including Theresa Bullard's piece on Indigos, Dave Lanyon's piece on bridging the gap of abundance for Lightworkers, and several of Gudni's articles such as my personal favourite "Why Study Metaphysics?"

I'm personally so excited for a brand new article by Gudni about the power of WATER. It is a truly insightful piece on an element that is so much a part of lives. It ties in well with the exciting upcoming event at Lake Biwa. If you haven't heard about it, CHECK IT OUT!

How has your life been activated?

In the most recent issue of Magus, there was an article about the Life Activation (formerly known as the DNA Activation). If you are an initiate in the school, you have more than likely been activated by a certified Modern Mystery School Teacher, Healer and/or Guide.

This activation is truly a turning point and a major step toward Adept initiation. This powerful and ancient modality lit up areas of your life that were otherwise unlit; it awakened areas that were otherwise dormant. Light was poured into the very core of who you are, the very spiritual DNA that you are made up of and helps you to realize your true life purpose.

How did this activation work for you? What did the Life Activation set in motion for you specifically? Flip through your calendar and look back to the date you first had your activation. What has happened since? Often times people experience a surge of change and series of events they don't immediately look back to. Even if there was much time between your activation and your initiation, every step and experience led you to where you are right now.

Where are you right now? How has your life been activated and what are you going to do with it?

Working with Archetypes

Archetypes appear in our life more often than we know. Signs and symbols are ways that our spirit guides communicate with us, but moreover it is the way we interpret life and we need these symbols to help us learn.

One such way we can work with these archetypes, signs and symbols is through meditation, so that we are more aware when they are trying to teach us things. As initiates, we are encouraged to meditate 2 hours a day. But how many of us do that? How successful are we at calming and stilling the mind? How good are we at recognizing all the symbols when they appear in our life?

In almost every issue of Magus, we publish an Archetypal Meditation, created by Master Teacher Lorraine Henrich. These meditations are informational articles about the gods and goddess and their qualities, attributes and powers — and how they can and do affect our lives.

It is a great introduction to working with the archetypal energies and at the same time, you are entering into a state of active meditation where you will learn more about yourself and the world around you!

Another successful RMMS program!

In Toronto, Canada, the RMMS just completed another round of intense warrior training with a full three-day program of Warriors of Light, Ritual Master Novice and Ritual Master Apprentice initiations, as well as Holy Blood, Enochian Temple and more!

In the midst of this warrior work, the first Shamballah Tribal Initiation on North American soil was performed as well as another successful Shamballah Event. This new and vibrant energy brought a surge of inspiration and hope to all the warriors, reminding them what we are fight for — a bright and better future — Shamballah!

The Fight for the Light

RMs have the difficult task/CHALLENGE of fighting full on with their Hearts in perfect balance with the Sword of Justice.

This is the lesson taught by Michael and one that should be heeded well. As with any path, no matter what, we must tame our negative ego or it will seek to destroy us!

The unique path of an RM is that of the honour of service to not only God but all of humanity. Personally, this honour humbles me to my very core.

To be entrusted with the fate of humankind is to be fulfilled and blessed all in one profound moment.

I would like to thank all my fellow RMMS energy holders for always being there to fortify hope for me and indeed for all. To all the teachers that have and will continue to impart wisdom and knowledge so that I can grow ever stronger with ever more joy in my life. And with that Joy I can continue to shine my own brilliant Light for those that are seeking it in their own lives.

Namaste dear ones, it is a pleasure to know you all. Thanks Again for all your support. Special thanks to Gudni and the Counsel of 12 who by example teach us that with conviction of heart, soul and mind we will be victorious!

Omnibus Illuminati; The Emancipation

Sitting before my altar in meditation and absence of thought, I am fulfilled with the burden of the World and the current human condition. This brings me great sorrow. With the next breath connected to the One Mind, I experience the impact of Universal love, joy and peace. Suddenly, tears of elation and gratitude stream down my face. I realize that I am fortunate enough to experience this unified sense of wholeness. Simultaneously experiencing very different emotions, I ponder this state of consciousness and what it means? Tiphareth comes to mind. I smile and realize that I am free. Free from the stagnant consciousness that imprisons many. I celebrate this Emancipation! I believe I have reached a milestone in authentic alchemy. I recognize it is my purpose to help those seeking, out of bondage, and into the realization that this state of love and grace not only exists, but is attainable for all to partake. It is my vision someday we will truly live as one. Won’t you join me?

Awakenings After Initiation

So many of us struggle with glimpses of darkness that emerge from our transformative past. Why were the same lessons rhythmically occurring within my life?

I sat in deep meditation over this for some time and asked the Hierarchy to clarify this for me so that I would understand.

I was then guided to write and this is what was drawn from my pencil:

Light is a natural element, which acts as a compound ingredient that lays dormant within our soul. A shock to our soul by way of trauma awakens our light. The inner light radiated within us when we are young, displaying a pure, innocent vibrancy.

Children are so crisp and fresh in early years before they are subjected to all of the earth’s elements by way of dynamics. Just as the snow falls from the sky, so pure with no traces of impurities until it unites with the frozen ground. The elements from the earth begin to reshape the flake, leaving dirt, and debris from the environment. Prior to landing on the ground the flake is pure, once uniting with the earth there is an immediate bond. As this connection occurs the flake has many choices to make. The experiences the flake is subjected to at the beginning stages mold the flake’s potential to remain beautiful or simply fade away. It is up to each individual flake.

So there I found myself truly grasping for the first time that I did in fact have control over my life as well as my future.

Mountain

So High the Climb
Step by Step Approaching Divine Heights

It is said among many saints and mystics, that at the peak of the mountain lies a hidden doorway leading to many secret passageways to the spirit world. Obtaining the spiritual strength to attempt the climb is accessible. Our spiritual muscles need an enormous amount of inner strength to begin this mountain climb. Preparing to spiritually climb our personal mountain requires nourishment attained through inner reflection, and casting aside what no longer serves us here in the present. The harder we push, our thoughts are gathered and placed appropriately, as we ascend up the mountain.

As we progress as individuals within the Mystery School, the steps are almost effortlessly placed there before us. Our journey upward to reach the top is a slow process, unknowing of what truly lies ahead. The magnetic force that energetically focuses our attention upward, is a tugging of the heart stings to the soul. As we navigate our route up the mountain we must know there is no turning back. This is a solo journey of experience with no traveling companions. The climb is made while holding only one hand — this is the hand of God.

Steadily traveling up, we gain new consciousness. Our inner and outer perceptions begin to mold into a completely different light than ever imagined. The signs of encouragement from fellow Adepts, Teachers, Guides, and RMs as they patiently watch in the distance ahead of us, humbly welcoming our efforts with open arms. Suddenly we begin to question why we ever did stay on the valley floor of the mountain for so long. Or even why did we choose to stay in the comfort and security with others after hearing of the spiritual mysteries that await. Then we realize that timing is arranged to our exact level of learning, which explains why our time restraints here in the now captivate our true selves, hence causing us physical time delays. This strengthens our perceptions and allows us to practice patience with our energy on a daily basis.

The amazing, transformational shedding of one’s self that occurs as we climb breaks ground for any struggles and hardships that may emerge as we travel upward. In essence. this brings us closer to enter the secret passageway to an unexplainable spiritual freedom and liberation of this dimension. One of the lessons we are taught as we strive upward is that the climb is a sacrificial one. Major sacrifices need tending to if we want to be successful in our journey. Surrendering our fears to the light does not mean turning our back on others, rather patiently cheering them on as they no longer can resist the pull. The key here to note is that the “pull” we all individually experience is designed to place us back into our forgotten “contracted” higher spiritual level, uniquely different than the next. It is by our actions alone that ignite the light within to radiate outward.

I am grateful along with you, to have experienced the valley floor, as it proved to be a a beginning foundation, which led my awakened senses to experience the pull within me. As I ascend upward my whole reality has shifted as well as my former perceptions of others who remain on the valley floor. In order to understand what it is like to be on that mountain, we must take the first step. By purifying our consciousness — our inner realities transmute to unfamiliar territory that harbors a safe sanctuary within each and every one of us.

Have you heard of the city Shamballah,
That marvellous place in the North,
The home of the Masters of Wisdom,
Whence the Sons of the Word are sent forth?
In moments of vision we see it,
For a moment we understand,
Then it passes from sense, unsubstantial
As the shadows of gulls o’er the sand.

What Architect builded Shamballah
As frail as the wondrous new moon?
Its wall with the rose tint of morning
From no earthly quarry were hewn.
Before Him no Builder took counsel
To fashion from dust of the ground,
In beauty and order and rhythm,
A palace of color and sound.

It arose with the arches of heaven
When the planets were swung in a chime,
And those who look forth from its windows
Have watched the procession of time.
By the great Northern light and the silence
Its inviolate portals are barred.
On cold winter nights you can see them
As they countermarch changing guard.

Have you dreamed of the mystic Shamballah,
The City under the Star,
Where the Sons of the Fire-Mist gather
And the keys of all mystery are?
When the white moon rises in splendor,
Have you said, as it lifts and gleams,
“They have lighted the Silver Lantern
In the gate of the City of Dreams.”

Have you read of the fabled Shamballah
In symbols or letters of gold,
Whence issued the Bringers of Knowledge
For the saving of peoples untold?
They builded no temple save beauty,
Save truth they established no creed,
Great love was their power and purpose,
As a flower in the heart of a seed.

They heard the first flute-note in Egypt
Uplifted in longing and prayer.
When sunrise stole over the desert
To break upon Thebes, they were there.
In Babylon, Llassa, and Sarnath,
Through Galilee, Athens and Tyre
To thresholds unnamed and unnumbered
They carried the Message of Fire.

They kindled the flame unconsuming
In souls that were quick to receive,
They told of a truth that should follow
Had love but the will to believe.
From Patmos, Chaldea, and Cumae
Their servants were chosen anew,
To speak to Logos commanded,
That the Dream of the Good might come true.

The light-bearing sons of Shamballah,
They spread the ineffable word.
And spirits who mocked it were broken,
And blessed were the spirits that heard.
The birds knew the joy of their gospel,
The windflower sprang where they trod,
And the ages were quickened to worship
Jehovah or Allah or God.

Have you heard of the speech of Shamballah,
The language that all men know
In township, pueblo, or palace,
Wherever men rest or go?
It is clear in the tones of friendship,
It is murmured in wind and rain,
It is writ in the painted desert,
And the sifting snow on the plain.

It blooms in the high Sierras,
It springs from the dust of the trail,
It flowers in golden silence
When all other speeches fail.
There is never a hint of kindness,
There is never an accent of love,
But the firmament thrills to its whisper
And the heavens are glad thereof.

Forth from that Magian City
What teachers and avatars came,
To walk through our streets in pity--
If so they might heal our shame!
From Krishna, Gautama, and Jesus
To Swedenborg, Blake, and Delsarte,
They brought us the message of brothers,
They labored and died apart.

Untold are the sons of Shamballah,
Who must carry the word without rest,
And pass, with the joy of their presence,
Like shadows of angels unguessed.
They carry no mark of their order,
No talisman men must obey.
The street of the heart is their highroad,
Their mission to lighten the way.

They came with the music of Orpheus,
Wit the hymns of Isaiah and Job,
With the staff and bowl of the beggar
Or the glory of Solomon’s robe.
Their task from Plotinus to Browning
Was ever and never the same,--
To replenish the altars of wisdom
And guard the impalpable flame.

In this mortal fabric incarnate
What radiant souls have had birth!
The visions they cherished and quickened
Were not begotten of earth.
In music or language or color,
However their rapture was caught,
Divine were the instincts they followed,
Divine was the service they wrought.

The sweep of Beethoven and Handel
In majestical triumph or dirge,
The glories of Raphael’s genius,
The splendor of Angelo’s urge,
The soaring Te Deums of Gothic
Arrested in eloquent stone,--
What are these but the soul of the Ages
Immortal through color and tone!

Pure wine of the spirit they gave us,--
A gladness to make us whole,--
But we trusted to cunning to save us,
And cunning has cheated our soul.
The brand of the beast is upon us
In wantonness, folly and greed.
We have trampled the torch that should light us,
And our darkness is ours indeed.

The Nations are gathered to counsel,
In jealousy, envy, and fear,
Forgetting the Judgment of Karma,
And the Judgment of Karma is here.
O’er Rome, over London and Paris
The morrows of destiny wait.
Yet who now seeks word from Shamballah?
Who knocks at the Ivory Gate?
